Inmate Document Management provides online document creation and storage, accessible
from your web browser. IDM can reduce the volume of paper storage by 90%, and provide
instantaneous document retrieval from any computer in your network. IDM can also eliminate
the duplication of documents in different folders.
IDM provides secure folder-based document storage, with access restricted to designated
users.
IDM can accommodate scanned images of paper documents received from various sources:
municipalities, courts, doctors, in-house systems, medical or social service facilities, and other institutions. IDM can be trained to recognize your standard paper forms and file them accordingly. |
|
But scanning paper is only part of the solution. To provide a complete solution, IDM supports online forms that can be filled out on a desktop, laptop, or tablet PC and immediately filed in the system. Your in-house forms can be transformed into “digital paper”. Online forms can be digitally signed: by inmates, officers, supervisors, nurses, doctors, and others.
Digital signatures not only establish the identity of the signer, but also establish that a document has not been modified since being signed. Multiple signatures on a single document are supported.
IDM can also keep track of documents requiring additional signatures. Fingerprint
authentication is used to identify form signers, thereby eliminating the need for ids and
passwords, which are not practical for an inmate population. |
