The application lacked the ability to load intelligent data fast and did not have a rich user interface. There was also an expectation to enable faster product iteration with reduced development time for new product features to enable growth.
The Approach
The first step was to design for an application that met the business objectives and could scale. Our engineers created a new design that utilized a layered architecture and took advantage of newer frontend frameworks. The layered architecture enabled a modular, scalable, extendable and maintainable cloud application with microservices. The new lightweight frontend resulted in a responsive application that functioned seamlessly across any device. Our team also redesigned the data insights component and ensured high security for the sensitive data.
